On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold access, and networking in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.
Social Worker Social Counselling
Within the framework of voluntary social counselling, social workers offer advice and support for young people, adults, couples, and families based on the legal mandate (personal social assistance). The focus is on, among other things, assessing problematic life situations and overcoming personal emergencies, assistance with clarifying relationship issues, parenting and family counselling, clarification of social insurance matters, and budget counselling.
Your tasks
- Advice and support for young people, adults, couples, and families within the framework of voluntary social counselling
- Clarification of social assistance entitlement and support to regain economic and social independence
- Investigations in child protection on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority
- Investigations and supervision of foster placements
- Advice and support for affected persons and relatives in addiction counselling
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with involved specialist agencies and institutions
- Administrative tasks
Your profile
- Completed degree in Social Work (FH)
- Professional experience in one or more fields of social work
- Basic knowledge of social insurance, social assistance, and Swiss Civil Code (ZGB)
- Independent, resilient, and flexible working style
- High communication skills
- Enjoy actively shaping a lively team culture
