- Participate in forest ecological research projects focusing on forest biodiversity
- Support a motivated research team during fieldwork in the forest
- Maintain insect traps and acoustic loggers
- Record forest structures such as deadwood and habitat trees
- Prepare samples (insects and soil samples) for further analysis (metabarcoding and insect identification) in the laboratory

- Surefootedness in difficult terrain
- Good knowledge of German, English, or French; knowledge of the other languages is an advantage
