Financial Accountant Hydro, Biomass & Services (m/f/d)

Do you keep an overview even with multiple mandates and ensure clean financial statements? At Axpo, you take responsibility for accounting in the Hydro, Biomass & Services area and help shape the energy future.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• You manage the accounting for several mandates and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• You perform intercompany reconciliations and report financial statements in the group consolidation tool Tagetik

• You prepare the financial part of the management and explanatory reports and support external audits

• You manage bank and accounts receivable accounting including invoicing and dunning, and support accounts payable accounting

• You prepare tax returns, VAT statements and other tax declarations

• You develop budgets, long-term plans as well as monthly liquidity plans and contribute to process improvements

Profile & Requirements

• You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate in finance and accounting) or a degree in business administration - complemented by several years of practical experience in accounting

• You have good knowledge of accounting standards IFRS, OR and Swiss GAAP FER (IFRS advantageous) as well as good tax knowledge in direct and indirect areas

• You have very good Excel skills; experience with SAP and ideally Tagetik is an advantage

• You convince with good problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and excellent self-management

• You speak fluent German; English skills are desirable, French is an advantage
