The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a leading intercantonal hospital, bringing together more than 2,500 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two geriatric and rehabilitation clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our physiotherapy team at the Rennaz site, we are looking for, on a permanent basis, a:
Physiotherapist M/F at 100% – Medicine, critical care and emergency
The main duties of this position are
- Ensure the quality and continuity of inpatient physiotherapy care in the fields of medicine, critical care and emergency.
- Actively participate in the organisation of work and the smooth running of the department's activities.
- Collaborate in the supervision and evaluation of students and new collaborators.
- Contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork.
- Promote and enhance physiotherapy within the institution and externally.
We require
We require:
- A Bachelor of Science HES-SO in occupational therapy/physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Full recognition by the Swiss Red Cross for foreign qualifications (applications without recognition will not be considered).
- Advanced skills in the care of patients with respiratory conditions are highly recommended. Otherwise, good basic knowledge combined with strong motivation to train, develop skills and commit long-term in this field are expected.
- A modern and evolving vision of physiotherapy in a hospital setting, with an interest in developing practices.
- Good interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit and a desire to work within a multidisciplinary team.
