About the job
The Clinical Research Unit of the University Clinic for Medical Oncology has been managing clinical research projects in the fields of oncology and haemato-oncology for decades in collaboration with national and international research groups and is one of the largest and most experienced groups in Switzerland.
What to expect
- Caring for study participants in clinical trials for the treatment of various tumour diseases
- Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of patient visits (sample processing, recording ECG, etc.)
- Enrolling study patients in collaboration with the principal investigators
- Study activation in cooperation with various sponsors
- Providing and processing study blood samples according to study protocol
- Managing study medications including ordering, accounting and dispensing
- Independent project management of clinical studies in the hospital as an interface to sponsors and CROs
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with internal and external partners and ensuring correct study documentation including reporting relevant events
- Conducting monitoring visits
What you bring
- Completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH (or equivalent)
- Experience in oncology/haematology is an advantage
- Experience as a study nurse is an advantage
- Independence, initiative as well as a structured and organised way of working are among your strengths
- An initiative, team-oriented and flexible personality with a high willingness to learn
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
