About the job
Are you a creative all-rounder with craft or technical skills? Do you enjoy being a host and bringing joy to people of all ages and walks of life?
We are a lively church community with around 4600 members in eight villages at the foot of the Etzel on the beautiful left shore of Lake Zurich. We are rural yet close to the city and have excellent infrastructure.
Your tasks (the same for both locations)
- independent preparation, accompaniment and follow-up of church and non-church events, during the day, in the evening and on two weekends per month for one service each,
- supervision of technology such as heating, ventilation, bell, audio and lighting systems,
- cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the rooms,
- care and maintenance of the outdoor facilities and surroundings including winter services,
- mutual substitution and support by arrangement.
We wish
- you are a member of one of the two national churches and live the Christian faith,
- you have completed a craft or technical apprenticeship and/or a qualification as a caretaker with a federal specialist certificate or as a facility maintenance specialist EFZ,
- you are hospitable and a team-oriented personality with pleasant and well-groomed manners, organisational talent, high reliability and a sense of aesthetics,
- you understand Swiss German dialect and are confident in the German language, especially in oral expression,
- you have experience in using modern communication media,
- you hold a category B driving licence.
