About 450 employees produce reinforcing steel from scrap steel in Gerlafingen. Stahl Gerlafingen AG is the largest recycling company in Switzerland. The sales markets for the products are in Switzerland and the European Union.

Try & Hire in 4-shift operation

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Loading and storing steel products from the production line
  
• Preparing shipments using SAP and the internal warehouse management system 
  
• Loading and unloading trucks, railcars, and internal transport
  
• Operating industrial trucks (forklifts up to 12 tons)
  
• Operating floor- and cabin-controlled cranes
  
• Contributing to and ensuring smooth material and goods flow

Skills

• Several years of experience handling forklifts and pneumatic loaders is an advantage
  
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and endurance in a dynamic environment
• Responsible and reliable working style
  
• Compliance with safety and quality standards
• Confident handling of cranes and forklifts thanks to a Suva-recognized certificate
• Practical experience with SAP applications is an advantage
