The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Mr Sven Lang, Claudia Thoma is seeking a Deputy Ward Manager in the field of Psychotherapy to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Taking over all relevant tasks of the ward management to ensure the smooth running of the ward in the absence of the ward manager
- Supporting the ward manager in the professional and personnel leadership of the ward team
- Co-organising ward processes and optimally scheduling the nursing team, taking into account the available resources
- Enforcing applicable regulations and standards including continuous performance recording and control
- Supporting the ward manager in personnel and team development
Your profile
- Completed training as a qualified nurse HF with several years of professional experience and experience in the psychiatric field
- Interest in leadership tasks and organisational skills
- You are a resilient and flexible personality
- Networked, cross-departmental way of thinking
- An independent and responsible way of working completes your profile
