Court Management
The District Court Horgen is a first-instance civil and criminal court with around 60 employees. Approximately 4,000 cases are processed annually.
As a first-instance civil and criminal court, we are looking to strengthen our administrative office from September 2026 or by arrangement, initially limited until 31 December 2026, for a
Student (job sharing possible) (80-100%)
Your area of responsibility
- Handling inheritance matters, in particular identifying heirs domestically and abroad, liaising with parties and authorities, preparing decisions and undertaking the associated administrative tasks
- Managing the telephone switchboard and reception including receiving, processing and forwarding incoming calls
- Processing incoming mail including recording and creating incoming cases/proceedings
- Drafting decisions including dispatch and deadline monitoring
- Processing completed cases and archiving court files
- Substituting for other administrative staff in the rest of the court office as required
Your profile
- Student of Bachelor of Law or Master of Law
- Flexibility and willingness to work in various areas
- Quick comprehension as well as independent, precise and efficient working style
- Resilience and the ability to keep a cool head in challenging situations
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Good manners
- Team spirit and discretion
