As a Specialist in Control Technology SAS, you are the technical contact person for all control technology matters in operations, maintenance, and projects at our client. You ensure the high availability and safety of the secondary technology in our client’s substation systems.
Your main tasks
- Responsibility for active management and support in maintenance and contract matters in the field of control technology SAS
- Technical support for operations and project planning within the SAS environment
- Preparation of preliminary projects, support in fault analyses, and ensuring compliance with technical standards as well as quality assurance throughout all project phases
- Technical support for maintenance, DBKM, route security, and property management
- Professional support and operation of contracts (e.g. mast rental contracts and colocation contracts)
- Support of project management in technical matters and coordination with specialist departments
- Ensuring the management system-compliant implementation of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
Your profile
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical education with further training in control technology
- Several years of solid professional experience (at least 3 years) in control technology for high-voltage systems
- Comprehensive knowledge in control technology, SCADA systems, and substation communication
- Experience in fault analysis of control technology and peripheral IT (computers and networks)
- Good knowledge of control technology functions and concepts in the field of high-voltage technology
- Structured, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills – also in interdisciplinary working groups
- Languages: German or French (native), French or Italian (business fluent), English (advanced)
- Confident use of MS Office, engineering tools for SCADA systems, and IEC61850
