Clerk 60 - 70%Justice Enforcement and Reintegration (JuWe) is an authority of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich and employs around 1,400 women and men from diverse professions. JuWe primarily is responsible for the enforcement of court rulings and the execution of pre-trial detention. For JuWe employees, preventing recidivism and the successful social reintegration of offenders is of particular importance.
The Probation and Enforcement Services (BVD) are one of eight main departments of JuWe and are responsible for the enforcement of custodial sentences and court-ordered measures as well as probation assistance. They make an important contribution to crime prevention and the social integration of offenders.
Within the BVD, the Learning Programmes division conducts targeted learning programmes on a cognitive-behavioural basis with various groups of convicted persons on behalf of the public prosecutors and courts of the Canton of Zurich as well as justice enforcement authorities from across the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
As of 1 September 2026, we are seeking a committed individual in the Learning Programmes / Domestic Violence Protection Act service centre department to assist our team on a temporary basis until the end of the year.
Your area of responsibility
- As a temporary member of our dynamic team, you will take on the responsible administration of the learning programmes. This includes, among other things, registration, file creation and triage, checking penalty orders and judgments, precise course planning, and accounting for course fees
- You are the driving force behind the administrative and organisational support of the case managers in the Learning Programmes division. This includes data entry, appointment monitoring, and ensuring smooth processes and deadline controls.
- You ensure communication internally and externally, whether with clients or partners such as public prosecutors or enforcement authorities (telephone, correspondence, email)
- General office tasks such as filing, archiving, and minute-taking of meetings complete your varied range of duties
Your profile
- You have completed commercial training or successfully graduated from business school.
- Your German language skills are impeccable in spoken and written form; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- You are proficient in using the MS-365 suite and ideally have experience with SAP and Visio
- You are willing to dive in, have a quick grasp, your understanding of people in difficult life situations and your resilience make you the perfect addition to our team
- Finally, you have an impeccable reputation
