About the job
In our company with 30 employees, we develop, design and produce tools and injection moulds as well as technically sophisticated precision plastic parts. In the in-house injection moulding department, our own tools are sampled and series produced.
What you will achieve:
- Design and layout of injection moulding tools for new and modification projects
- Technical support of customer projects from the concept phase through tool realisation to series release
- Consulting and support of customers on technical issues, feasibility checks and optimisations
- Creation of 3D models, drawings, parts lists and technical documentation
- Calculation of tool costs as well as support in preparing offers
- Coordination and technical alignment with customers, suppliers and internal departments
- Participation in the optimisation of tools, standards and processes
What you bring:
- Completed training as a designer, polymechanic, toolmaker or comparable technical education
- Several years of experience in the design of injection moulding tools or in toolmaking
- Good knowledge of plastics technology, tool design and injection moulding processes
- Experience with CAD systems (knowledge of Cimatron is an advantage)
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Communicative and customer-oriented personality
- Enjoyment of responsibility and working in an SME with short decision-making paths
