Polymechanic – CNC Manufacturing (Milling)

Tasks

Independent programming, setup and commissioning of a 5-axis milling machine with Siemens control
Performing turning operations on a lathe with Heidenhain control as required
Continuous monitoring and ensuring the ongoing manufacturing processes
Optimisation and ensuring compliance with quality standards
Practical training and supervision of apprentices as the responsible contact person

Requirements

Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or CNC mechanic
Confident handling of 5-axis CNC milling machines and experience with Siemens controls
Knowledge of CNC lathes and experience with Heidenhain control is an advantage
Strong quality awareness, independent working style and a high sense of responsibility
Willingness to take on the role of vocational trainer
