Metrology Specialist

About the job

• Manage a wide range of laboratory equipment across the full lifecycle: onboarding, preventive maintenance, metrological checks, decommissioning, and GMP-compliant documentation

• Coordinate external service providers for maintenance activities

• Conduct equipment log reviews and ensure compliant archiving of equipment raw data

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as lab teams, QA, and IT

• Participate in the improvement and standardization of metrology routines

• Support during customer audits and inspections by regulatory authorities

• Education as a lab technician, Techniker HF, or equivalent qualification

• Hands-on experience in laboratory equipment handling, maintenance and troubleshooting

• Experience in GMP regulated environment is an plus

• Strong technical interest, ideally with an affinity to IT systems

• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

• Proactive team player with a hands-on mentality and attention to detail 

• Very good English; German is an advantage
