Job Description

The previous position as Head Technical Purchasing has been newly defined as Head Supply Chain (all).

• Overall responsibility for end-to-end supply chain management including strategic and operational purchasing, planning and logistics
• Leading price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Building and further developing a high-performance supplier and logistics network as well as sustainable partnerships
• Ensuring continuous material availability along the entire value chain while adhering to quality, deadlines and costs
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the purchasing, planning and logistics departments
• Cross-departmental collaboration with R&D, quality and production (product compliance evidence, regulatory, projects etc.)

Qualifications

• Technical basic training with further education in supply chain management, purchasing or business administration (federal certificate/diploma, higher technical college/university of applied sciences or equivalent) as well as many years of experience in a comparable SCM function with responsibility for purchasing, planning and logistics
• Down-to-earth leadership personality
• Professional experience in a comparable industry (e.g. mechanical engineering, vehicle or plant construction) with complex, technical products
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset with an end-to-end view of the value chain
• Convincing negotiation and communication skills (German & English)
