Atmospheric Emissions Measurement Technician

Office for Nature and Environment | 80–100 % | Chur

For the Office for Nature and Environment, for October 1, 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for a measurement technician for the atmospheric emissions sector. You will be part of a measurement team consisting of three specialists. The team is responsible for measurements in the areas of air, water, and soil moisture.

Your tasks

Your main task is to carry out measurements of atmospheric emissions from operating plants. This includes planning, execution, and evaluation of measurements, as well as the related quality assurance.
You will be responsible for part of the atmospheric immission measurement stations.
You will also provide support in measuring the flow rates of watercourses.

What we expect from you

You have completed an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician or have equivalent training in measurement technology as well as several years of professional experience.
You are familiar with the use of measuring instruments as well as with the evaluation and presentation of measurement results and are willing to further specialize professionally.
You enjoy traveling within the canton of Graubünden, appreciate working outdoors, and move confidently in the field.
You are characterized by an independent working method and the ability to work in a team. You also have good organizational and communication skills.
Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage.
Category B driving license.
