As Senior Construction Manager, you take on the professional and personnel leadership of a construction management team and ensure that construction projects are completed on time, cost-effectively, and to a high standard. You are also active as a construction manager in your own projects and act as the interface between clients, project managers, and internal specialist departments. This position offers you plenty of scope for creativity, genuine leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to actively shape the construction culture. You contribute significantly to the further development of the team and are responsible for the implementation of construction projects. You have the chance to apply your leadership skills and construction expertise in a challenging and varied role.
Responsibilities:
- You lead and plan the deployment of the construction management team
- In this role, you manage projects in terms of costs, quality, and deadlines
- As chief construction manager, you ensure quality standards and further develop the team
- You coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal specialist departments
- In this role, you lead your own projects as construction manager from start of construction to final acceptance
- You participate in tendering and awarding processes
Qualifications:
- You have several years of experience in construction management and project management, ideally as a certified architect, technician, or certified construction manager in building construction
- You bring leadership skills and enjoy team development
- You have a strong awareness of quality, costs, and deadlines
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
- You possess strong communication skills and assertiveness
- You are proficient in MS Office and ideally have knowledge of Messerli Bauad
