Team Leader: Nursing in Gynaecology and Ophthalmology

The University Clinic for Gynaecology at Inselspital Bern is a leading, internationally recognised medical centre for gynaecology. Our services cover all areas of gynaecology and obstetrics. The University Clinic for Ophthalmology at Inselspital has a long tradition of excellence in ophthalmology. The Department of Gynaecology and Ophthalmology comprises 31 beds. Here, women with gynaecological, oncological or senological conditions, as well as patients requiring conservative and microsurgical treatment of eye diseases, are cared for.

What to expect

• You are responsible for the personnel and professional leadership of around 20 employees in various roles
• You are committed to achieving the clinic and department goals
• Nursing work is part of your duties and you advocate for efficient structures
• You primarily take on the optimisation and further development of processes in the inpatient eye clinic. In doing so, you work closely with the co-department head, analyse existing procedures and actively shape their sustainable development.

• Completed training as a qualified nurse
• Ideally, you already have leadership experience or are motivated to acquire leadership expertise
• You are a resilient personality with leadership competencies
