We are looking for an independent, reliable, and entrepreneurial-minded individual as a Financial Accountant (80–100%) for our company.

In this versatile role, you will take on a central position in our financial accounting. Your focus will be on accounts receivable management and processing our daily financial transactions. At the same time, you will assist with monthly and annual financial statements, take on deputy responsibilities in the accounts payable area, and have the opportunity to gradually expand your scope of duties.

Your Responsibilities

• Daily posting and reconciliation of all bank transactions in various currencies
• Processing and reconciliation of incoming payments from various payment systems and service providers
• Responsibility for accounts receivable management including account reconciliations and clarification of open items
• Active receivables management including dunning and cooperation with debt collection agencies
• Active communication with customers, sales, and other internal departments to clarify payment discrepancies and outstanding receivables
• Handling foreign currency issues and reconciliations in different currencies
• Processing and reconciliation of intercompany invoicing
• Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including preparatory and follow-up work
• Deputising in the accounts payable area and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Prospective assumption of additional tasks, for example in the area of VAT accounting
• Support in deputising within the financial accounting of our production company
• Participation in the development and optimisation of processes and procedures in financial accounting

Your Profile

• Completed further education with a federal diploma in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally with broad experience in financial accounting
• Solid practical experience in accounts receivable management and receivables administration
• Experience with foreign currencies and intercompany invoicing
• Initial experience with monthly and annual financial statement tasks
• Experience in a corporate group or an internationally oriented environment is particularly important for this position
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Good Excel skills and confident use of MS Office, especially Outlook and Teams
• Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
