Introduction
For a modern acute hospital in the Zurich area, we are looking for a committed individual with a passion for medical technology. In this varied role, you will play a key part in ensuring that highly specialised medical devices and systems are always safe, reliable, and ready for use. You will work closely with clinical departments and make an important contribution to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the operational readiness and safety of medical devices and systems
- Analysing and resolving technical faults as well as supporting users in clinical daily routines
- Carrying out maintenance, inspections, safety and functional checks, and repairs
- Managing and maintaining the device inventory including technical documentation
- Supporting evaluation, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new medical technology
- Collaborating with internal departments, manufacturers, and external service providers
- Contributing to the further development and optimisation of the medical technology infrastructure
Profile
- Completed training as a certified medical technician HF or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in medical technology, ideally in a hospital or clinical environment
- Solid knowledge in maintenance, servicing, and testing of medical devices
- Good IT skills and understanding of networked technical systems
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong service orientation, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
