We have successfully expanded our presence in Europe over the last 10 years with locations in the DACH region in Basel (Switzerland), Böblingen and Penzberg (Germany) and are now looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) for our office in Böblingen (Greater Stuttgart area) at 80 - 100% capacity, starting immediately.
As an Electrical Project Manager, you take on the technical responsibility for the electrical discipline in complex pharmaceutical projects. You accompany the projects through all relevant phases – from the preliminary planning/concept phase through the design planning/basic design and the execution planning including tenders/detail design to the execution phase/construction & commissioning and handover to the client. In doing so, you coordinate internal and external interfaces, lead a small specialist team, and ensure that costs, deadlines, and quality are always balanced.
Job Description
Your tasks:
- Electrical discipline responsibility: Management, coordination, and execution of electrical trades in the areas of
- Power supply (medium voltage, low voltage switchgear, generator, UPS, sub-distributions)
- Electrical installations (lighting, blinds, lightning protection, grounding, equipotential bonding)
- Fire and hazard detection technology (fire alarm systems, gas detection systems, evacuation and alarm systems)
- Project work in all phases: Responsibility for electrical planning from feasibility study through concept, basic and detailed design to construction & commissioning phase
- Negotiations & interfaces: Independent negotiations with authorities, clients, architects as well as coordination with specialist planners, suppliers, and contractors
- Submissions & tenders: Preparation of tender documents and support of the awarding processes.
- Cost & schedule control: Preparation of initial cost estimates and calculations as well as monitoring of costs, schedules, and quality
- Technical documentation: Preparation and maintenance of technical documents for electrical, telematics, and security systems
- Approvals: Organisation and support of expert inspections and approvals of electrical systems

Qualifications
- Completed studies as an electrical engineer, electrical technician, electrical installer, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical planning in the DACH region
- Experience in leading or coordinating subprojects in the field of electrical building services engineering
- Ideally, you have also gained project experience in the following areas:
- Information and communication technology
- Smoke protection and smoke extraction systems
- Security and safety technology
- Measurement, control and regulation/automation
- Entrepreneurial thinking, independent and structured working style
- Confident appearance and convincing communication in dealing with clients, authorities, and partners
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, Revit or similar programmes
- Very good German (C1) and English skills (B2)
- High willingness to travel within Europe
