Initial Situation

When others think of air freight only as hand luggage, you know what is really meant. You understand the processes, keep an eye on deadlines, and do not let last-minute changes unsettle you? Our client is looking for reinforcement for the export team and offers you the opportunity to apply your expertise in a great environment.

Tasks

• handling air freight shipments in export, mainly general cargo (and partly DGR)
• organising collections and booking cargo space with airlines
• preparing and checking air freight and export documents
• checking dangerous goods documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• coordinating with customers, airlines, handling agents and international partners
• monitoring cut-off times, flight schedules and shipment status
• handling enquiries and finding solutions for last-minute changes

Requirements

• commercial basic training as a freight forwarding agent
• three to four years of practical experience in air freight (preferably in export)

IT

MS Office - good knowledge

Languages

German: spoken and written very good
English: spoken and written good
