Swiss Rock Asset Management is an institutional asset manager operating as an independent fund company based in Zurich. As part of the successful expansion of our activities, we are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded and proactive individual to lead the operation and maintenance of our complex Portfolio Management System.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of the Portfolio Management System Allocare
• Development of interfaces to market data systems, custodian banks, and MS SQL databases
• Development of sophisticated asset reporting for our key clients
• Development of functions for monitoring and alerting errors in automated system operations
• Collaboration with portfolio managers and operations to define the further development and optimisation of the application
• Collaboration with the Allocare supplier for error handling, release management, and defining requirements for the application’s further development
• Support of operations in trading and settlement processes
• Analysis and resolution of errors from the interfaces
• Collaboration with an experienced business informatics specialist and gradual assumption of responsibility for various task areas

Your Qualifications

• Business informatics specialist and/or corresponding several years of experience
• Basic knowledge and interest in financial instruments and asset management tasks
• Strong analytical skills
• Good ability to recognise connections and design application architectures
• Independent working style
• Experience in designing and implementing interface applications
• Good SQL skills
• Programming experience, preferably (Python, Matlab or similar)
• Experience with the Portfolio Management System Allocare or other asset management systems
• In-depth knowledge of settlement processes in securities business is an advantage (Omgeo / DTCC)
