Tox Info Suisse (www.toxinfo.ch) operates the emergency number 145 in Switzerland. Physicians and other medical professionals provide daily, round-the-clock telephone advice on poisonings caused by chemicals, medications, toxic plants, mushrooms or animals, as well as drugs and much more. At our location, right in the heart of Zurich with our 50 employees, we offer an interesting position and a varied role as a Senior Physician in part-time 50-80%, starting immediately or by arrangement, for a medically skilled, open-minded individual. The main tasks include:- Providing 24/7 on-call background services in rotation
- Supporting staff in all questions related to the poison emergency call and clinical toxicology and clinical pharmacology
- Reviewing dispatch reports
- Responding to written enquiries
- Responsible for the operation and quality of telephone
- If suitable: Personnel management of physicians and toxicological advisors
- Participating in the structured induction of new employees
- Writing and quality assurance of internal advisory documents
- Scientific work
- Contributing to internal training and external lecturing
- Completed medical degree
- Several years of experience in clinical toxicology and pharmacology
- Advantageous: Specialist in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (federally recognised or recognised by the federal government) or specialist in a related field (federally recognised or recognised by the federal government) with experience in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology or
- Committed, patient-oriented working style and high sense of responsibility
