Your area of responsibility:

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC turning, milling, and grinding machines as well as peripheral and production equipment
• Repair of assemblies, drives, guides, bearings, pumps, valves, clamping systems, and other machine components
• Carrying out maintenance and upkeep tasks as well as monitoring maintenance intervals
• Technical problem solving and continuous improvements
• Supervision of bar feeders, chip conveyors, coolant systems, extraction units, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment
• Execution of building maintenance and infrastructure work
• Collaboration with machine manufacturers and external service technicians

Your qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed technical basic training as a polymechanic EFZ, automation technician EFZ, maintenance specialist with a federal certificate, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the field of CNC turning and milling machines
• Excellent mechanical and electrical expertise as well as solid knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience in independent fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment
• Confident handling of technical drawings, electrical circuit diagrams, as well as diagnostic and measuring devices
• Good knowledge of control and automation technology, especially CNC and PLC controls
• Experience with preventive maintenance and systematic root cause analysis
• Knowledge of CNC machines from Tornos, Index, Star, Hanwha, or comparable manufacturers is an advantage
• Good command of German, both spoken and written
