The BakeryBakery Story & your mission

As the first fully vegan bakery chain in Switzerland, we combine responsibility with ambitious expansion. By the end of 2026, we will have 13 branches - more are planned. For our headquarters in Bern, we are looking for a new member of the executive board (EB) from 1 December 2026. As the CEO’s co-pilot, you are the financial and administrative backbone of our company, ensuring the accounting and providing decision-making bases for our growth.

Tasks

Your role: The multitool in the executive board

Together with your team, you bear the main responsibility for the finances and central services of Bakery Bakery AG. You also work operationally in finance.

• Finance & Controlling: Operational accounting, financial statements, expansion of controlling, KPI analyses and liquidity planning.
• CEO’s co-pilot: Strategic sparring partner, preparation of business cases as well as support in financing and investment matters.
• HR administration: Accompanying the employee lifecycle (contracts, payroll runs, social insurances).
• IT & infrastructure: Leading the IT department (1 person).

Qualification

Your toolkit

• Foundation: Training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate, business studies with a focus on accounting & controlling).
• Experience: Several years of practice in independent accounting management as well as several years of leadership experience.
• Tech affinity: High IT understanding, experience with ERP/cash register systems and a penchant for efficient processes.
• Mindset & culture: Detail-oriented but with an eye for the big picture; a can-do mentality for an agile start-up environment.
