For an established service company in the Bern area, we are looking for an experienced individual in finance and accounting to start immediately or by arrangement. In this versatile role, you will independently manage several mandates, actively contribute to the further development of the department, and gradually take on additional professional responsibilities.

What to expect:

• Independent management and support of various client accounting records
• Preparation, creation and assessment of periodic financial statements according to CO and Swiss GAAP FER
• Support in budgeting, planning and management reporting
• Preparation and interpretation of relevant financial key figures
• Handling more complex accounting and business management issues
• Support of the department management in operational business
• Prospective assumption of a professional deputy and coordination function

What you should bring:

• Completed further education in finance and accounting, controlling or business administration
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Confidence in financial statement preparation according to CO; knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Very good user skills in Abacus and Excel
• Strong numerical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp connections
• Service-oriented, resilient and straightforward personality
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility and sharing knowledge within the team
• Business fluent German skills, both spoken and written
