The establishment has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward with around 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. We are looking for our sterilisation department at Morges Hospital a:

Medical Device Technologist (M/F) 100% - Permanent contract

YOU HAVE

• A Federal VET Diploma as Medical Device Technologist
• Solid knowledge of medical device sterilisation processes, as well as hospital hygiene rules, asepsis, decontamination and traceability.
• A strong ability to apply strict procedures, work precisely and comply with high quality and safety standards.
• Good stress resistance, organisational skills and the ability to work in a team in an environment driven by hospital needs.
• Very good command of French, both spoken and written.

YOUR OBJECTIVES

• Ensure all stages of medical device reprocessing, from receipt to availability to user services, in compliance with current procedures and requirements.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, functional control, maintenance, assembly, packaging and sterilisation of medical devices.
• Check medical devices and compositions to guarantee conformity, integrity and functionality before their redistribution.
• Ensure traceability of the different stages of the reprocessing process and contribute to compliance with quality system requirements.
• Use appropriately the equipment and installations necessary for medical device reprocessing and participate in their monitoring within established procedures.
• Identify and report non-conformities and actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement processes.
• Participate in the daily organisation of the central sterilisation and contribute to ensuring continuity of activities according to hospital service needs.
• Collaborate closely with the entire sterilisation team as well as with operating theatres and various partner services, in a spirit of collaboration and professionalism.
