Job Description

As a Product Manager, you form the central interface between the market, customers, and technology. You are responsible for the market success of your portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle, thereby making an important contribution to sustainable growth and profitability.

• You develop the product and portfolio strategy and implement it with a view to sustainable growth and competitiveness
• You analyse market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities and derive concrete fields of action from them
• You define market segments, target groups, and compelling value propositions for your product portfolio
• You initiate and manage product innovations from the idea to successful market launch and support their effective positioning in the market
• You are responsible for the performance, profitability, environmental friendliness, and continuous development of your product portfolio
• You lead and work closely with interdisciplinary and global teams and convincingly represent your ideas and products to internal and external stakeholders.

• Solid technical background acquired through technical training, a degree, or relevant professional experience; business training is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in product management in an industrial environment
• Very good understanding of markets, applications, and technology trends
• Strong customer and market orientation
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented thinking and working style
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• You are an implementation-driven personality who consistently drives topics forward and remains steadfast even in challenging situations
• Convincing communication and presentation skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
