For the Theatre Department, we are looking for a maternity cover from 19 October 2026 to mid-May 2027 as
Communication Officer, 60%
Together with a well-coordinated and experienced team, you will be responsible for communication within the Theatre Department. In addition, you will be responsible for the external communication of the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes and work closely with the communications officer of the Department of Performing Arts and Film.
The position includes:
- Planning/implementation of cross-channel communication and marketing measures in collaboration with university communications and the heads of the individual BA majors (directing, acting, scenic space, theatre education) as well as the MA Theatre
- Planning/implementation of communication campaigns for events such as diploma productions, festivals and other theatre events (including ticketing)
- Planning/implementation of the information day for students and promotion of the BA and MA courses
- Leading a team of student assistants for graphics, photography, video and storytelling
- Editing and maintaining digital communication channels (website, agenda, newsletter, news, social media)
- Writing editorial contributions for web news
- Project management of digital communication projects, including the online diploma exhibition of the Theatre department
- Planning/coordinating photo and video productions
- Budget responsibility for communication and photo productions
