GEOMATICIAN (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 95,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist as Project Manager Geomatics & Surveying for diverse projects in the fields of surveying, GIS and network information systems. You will manage and lead projects in Eastern Switzerland and also undertake updating and renewal work in official surveying. Modern technologies such as GNSS, tachymetry, drones and laser scanning as well as professional CAD and GIS systems are used. The role combines classic engineering surveying with geodata management, official surveying and digital data collection.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of surveying, GIS and NIS projects
Execution of updating and renewal work in official surveying
Planning and execution of engineering, construction and inventory surveys
Conducting precise terrain and object surveys using GNSS and tachymeter
Use of drones and laser scanners for digital capture of terrain, buildings and infrastructure
Preparation, evaluation and quality control of measurement, point cloud and geodata
Processing and updating of GIS and network information systems (NIS)
Creation and updating of CAD plans, site plans and surveying documentation
Ensuring the required data quality, accuracy and documentation according to official surveying specifications
Coordination of project execution regarding deadlines, resources and data deliveries
Collaboration with engineers, technicians, geomaticians, authorities and external project partners
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as Geomatics EFZ or higher professional education in the field of geomatics/surveying
Professional experience in surveying, geomatics or official surveying
Knowledge in handling GNSS, tachymeter, laser scanner and/or drone surveying
Good user knowledge of CAD and GIS systems
Knowledge of GIS, NIS and geodata management is an advantage
Confident use of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
Experience in independent project handling or project management is an advantage
