Are you looking for a challenge where you take responsibility for a network infrastructure and ensure with your team that services remain stable, secure and high-performing? As a Senior Network Engineer with Team Lead, you lead a team both technically and personally and further develop the network architecture. You set technical standards and ensure that platforms meet current and future requirements. You combine technical expertise with leadership skills, pragmatism and a clear focus on sustainable solutions. In this role, you take responsibility for the network infrastructure and ensure its continuous development.
Responsibilities:
You lead the technical and personnel direction of our network team.
You are responsible for the availability, further development and sustainable management of the connectivity landscape.
You coordinate cross-departmental requirements and translate them into actionable operational concepts.
You define target images for highly scalable, economical and protected communication platforms.
You initiate technical projects, prioritise initiatives and establish modern methods for telemetry, security and orchestration.
Qualifications:
Several years of management experience within a technically oriented environment, preferably communications or IT operations.
University degree in computer science, telecommunications or a comparable higher qualification.
Solid know-how in network design, dynamic routing, SDN, IP/MPLS, cyber defence, telemetry and scripting.
Practical knowledge of fibre optic connections, DOCSIS as well as network components from Cisco and Huawei.
Strong judgement, assertiveness, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to clearly communicate complex matters.
