As an engineer at PROFIX AG , you will take on a versatile key position . The focus is on the
design and dimensioning of sophisticated fastening solutions for a wide range of applications
in timber and concrete construction.
You combine engineering with consulting and practical experience. You enjoy understanding complex tasks,
reducing them to the essentials, and developing clear, practical solutions from them.
You work closely with our customers, product management, sales, and our long-standing
suppliers, and you share your knowledge through training sessions and specialist lectures.

Your tasks:

• Design and dimensioning of sophisticated, economical, and standards-compliant fastening solutions
• Technical consulting for users, trade partners, planners, and engineers
• Conducting training sessions, seminars, and specialist lectures as well as providing technical support to our sales team
• Further development of the technical department
• Co-design and technical advancement of our products and system solutions
• Monitoring new construction methods, standards, and technologies and transferring relevant developments into practice
• Further development of our design software and digital consulting tools as well as utilisation of new technological possibilities
• Maintaining the professional network with planners, associations, standards committees, and international suppliers

Your profile:

• Degree as a civil engineer FH, timber construction engineer FH, or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in structural engineering or timber construction; knowledge of fastening technology is an advantage
• Enjoyment of static issues and the dimensioning of technical solutions
• Strong consulting and communication skills
• Empathy, genuine interest in people, and enjoyment of personal exchange
• Ability to convey complex technical contexts clearly and practically
• Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and advancing others professionally
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility
• Openness to new technologies and digital working methods
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills; French skills are an advantage
