In this versatile role, you actively shape the daily life of older people and contribute to promoting joy of life, self-determination and social participation. With your expertise, creativity and musical talent, you create valuable encounters and enriching moments

Type of Work

• Planning, organisation and implementation of resource-oriented activation offers in group and individual settings
• Design and implementation of musical offers for residents and guests
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, care and other specialist areas
• Organisation and accompaniment of excursions, events and seasonal occasions
• Promotion of social contacts and support of individual quality of life
• Co-responsibility for creating a homely and appealing environment
• Support and supervision of students in the field of Activation HF
• Willingness to occasionally work at evening and weekend events

Requirements Profile

• Completed training as Certified Activation Specialist HF
• Professional experience in long-term care is an advantage
• Experience in the field of geriatric psychiatry or psychiatric rehabilitation is desirable
• High social competence and enjoyment in dealing with older people
• Independent, structured and organised way of working
• Creativity, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Musical talent and the ability to play an instrument, ideally piano and/or guitar
