About the job
Cameraman-Editor / Camerawoman-Editor Internship
A key element in the audiovisual production process at La Télé, their tasks mainly involve capturing images on set as well as in the field and editing on a digital workstation.
Description
He or she is tasked with going alone or accompanying a journalist on reports, conducting live duplexes with one camera, collaborating as a camera operator on our multicamera shoots, editing "News" segments or shows assigned to them, and participating in the setup of various sets in our studios.
The intern must have a strong interest in imagery and audiovisual media and some experience with camera operation or video editing. This activity requires creativity, autonomy, and good stress management. Shoots regularly involve travel by company car, so a "car" driving license is mandatory; good knowledge of the Romandy region is an asset!
An internship at La Télé as a cameraman-editor or camerawoman-editor allows training in handling cameras both in the field and in the studio, mastering NEWS editing on a digital workstation, and daily collaboration with the Production and Editorial teams of La Télé.
Finally, we emphasize a "participatory" training approach that allows the intern to actively collaborate in the production process of the shows and participate in the channel's live broadcasts.
Comments
We thus contribute to training the professionals who will shape the audiovisual industry of tomorrow. Since its creation, La Télé has welcomed many interns who were subsequently hired by production companies, communication-specialized firms, other private televisions, RTS, or even directly by La Télé. Others have chosen to become freelancers.
