About the job
Head of Housekeeping 40-60% with Additional Administrative Tasks
Your Tasks
Professional and personnel responsibility for the housekeeping area (cleaning, laundry)
Leading a team of around 10 employees
Regular operational presence in daily routines to support the team and ensure quality standards
Creation of deployment and vacation plans (PEP) as well as conducting employee interviews
Counter and telephone service and additional tasks in the administration area
Ensuring compliance with hygiene, quality, and occupational safety standards
Conducting regular quality checks and continuous process optimization
Responsibility for material management of the entire operation
Ensuring the preservation of value of buildings, furniture, and infrastructure
Coordination of interfaces with care, technical services, administration, and management
Further development of the area considering operational and economic requirements
Ensuring a structured flow of information within the team and towards superiors
Proactive shaping of everyday work and ongoing optimization of the area of responsibility
What You Bring
Training as a certified housekeeper EFZ or comparable training or several years of professional experience in cleaning/laundry
Leadership experience is an advantage
Diplomacy, discretion
High social competence and good sensitivity for elderly people
Ability to prioritize information in a structured way, communicate appropriately to the target audience, and professionally coordinate interfaces
Process-oriented and economical thinking as well as structured, solution-oriented working style
Diplomacy, discretion, and pronounced sensitivity for elderly people
Very good German skills in spoken and written form
Confident handling of Office applications and common IT programs (ideally knowledge of Polypoint and Business Central)
Great flexibility regarding work, working hours, and weekend/holiday shifts
