The Center for Social Affairs is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we are actively engaged, low-threshold, and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling, and school social work.
Relief Social Assistance 60-80% from May 2026
In the Social Counseling department in Sursee, we are urgently looking for a temporary position from May 1, 2026, until approximately the end of August 2026:
Your tasks
- Clarification of social assistance entitlement and support for regaining economic and social independence
- If possible, counseling and support for adolescents, adults, couples, and families within the framework of voluntary social counseling
Your profile
- Social worker with a completed degree in social work (FH)
- At least 1.5 years of professional experience after graduation in a social service
- Knowledge of social insurance, social assistance, and Swiss Civil Code (ZGB)
- Experience in WSH is mandatory
