About the job
The long-standing head of our activation department will retire at the end of the year. Therefore, we are looking for a committed and creative individual to take over the management of the activation, further develop the offering professionally and conceptually, and set new impulses together with the team.In this versatile role, you combine your professional expertise with organisational skills and a keen sense of the needs of our residents. You create spaces for encounters, promote existing resources, and enable meaningful experiences that enhance joy, self-determination, and quality of life in everyday life.
The Spital Zofingen Care Centre offers a home to up to 92 residents, where humanity, appreciation, and individual care are central. Together with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team, we create a varied and dignified daily routine.
As part of the Zofingen Campus and in close connection with the hospital, you benefit from short communication channels, a strong network, and interdisciplinary collaboration. With us, you have scope for creativity, can contribute your ideas, and actively shape the further development of activation.

Your Responsibilities
- You take over the professional and personnel management of the activation team (3 people) and competently support future HF students on their training path.
- Together with your team, you design a varied, needs-oriented, and structured activation that enriches the daily lives of our residents – in close cooperation with the care centre management and the nursing departments.
- You plan and implement a variety of events and excursions with great creativity.
- You coordinate the deployment of our 30 volunteer staff members.
- With your sensitivity to seasons and moods, you ensure a loving, seasonal decoration in the nursing departments.
Your Profile
- Completed training as a certified activation specialist HF
- Professional experience in a leadership role as well as in long-term care
- Excellent organisational skills
- Warm and humorous basic attitude as well as an open and sociable manner
- Motivation and joy in tackling diverse challenges and embracing new tasks
- Good command of German, both spoken and written
