The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Primary Level Department is responsible for the training of primary school teachers for school years 1-5 (kindergarten and lower primary).
The office of the Primary Level Department is responsible for the organisation and administration of the primary level courses (kindergarten and lower primary). From 1 January 2027, the offices of the primary and lower primary levels will be merged into a joint office.
This is what you will do.
- Independent administration, organisation and planning of the kindergarten and lower primary courses with a focus on professional practice
- Participation in professional practical training as well as in the office
- Assistance in organising and conducting professional practical events
- Communication, contact and advice with/from students as well as with colleagues from professional practice
- Cooperation and networking, especially collaboration with lecturers and external experts from the school field
- Diverse collaboration with study organisation, co-course leaders, area managers and colleagues in the office
This is what you bring with you.
- Commercial training and further education and qualification, preferably professional experience in the education sector or public sector
- Very good IT skills and ease in handling various software (MS Office, SharePoint and Evento advantageous)
- Agile, resilient and proactive personality
- High communication skills, solution focus and service orientation
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- High degree of independence combined with strong team spirit
- Organisational talent, structured working methods and enjoyment in dealing with institutional processes and structures
