This is what awaits you in your apprenticeship:

• First, you will learn the basics of mechanics and electronics
• You will carry out maintenance work and repairs on long-distance vehicles in our ICE workshop, so that they are always ready for use
• To find faults, you will use modern measuring and testing devices
• As a mechatronics technician, you will also check electrical, electronic and mechanical systems – in other words, everything that keeps a train running
• You will learn all about control systems in our vehicles, such as information displays or doors

Your profile:

• You have (or will soon have) successfully completed your secondary school leaving certificate or a higher school qualification, and your school qualification is recognised in Germany
• Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 level
• You enjoy technology and teamwork
• Your knowledge of maths and physics is particularly good
• It is also clear that you are reliable
• In addition, you work very precisely and like to get stuck in
