Your mission with us:

In this role, you apply your medical knowledge specifically at the interface between reception, patient care and laboratory administration. You ensure that enquiries, laboratory orders and medical information are correctly recorded, triaged and forwarded.

Your responsibilities:

• First point of contact for our customers and patients by telephone and on site at reception
• Triage of all incoming calls taking into account medical and laboratory-related issues
• Assistance with the complete recording of laboratory orders in the medical laboratory environment
• Recognising and correctly forwarding laboratory-relevant information and queries
• Performing blood sampling in the outpatient clinic (including function test)
• Administrative daily business, including recording laboratory orders and archiving completed laboratory orders

Why you will succeed:

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ or equivalent medical training is mandatory
• Basic medical understanding as well as familiarity with practice, clinic or laboratory processes are required
• You can correctly classify laboratory orders, patient enquiries and medical queries
• Good knowledge of German, any additional language is an advantage
• Willingness to work early, late and Saturday shifts
• Careful, structured and independent working style with high personal responsibility
• Team-oriented personality with a strong service orientation
