For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Senior Software Architect 80% – 100% (all genders).In this role, your responsibilities would include: You will lead the overall software architecture by designing scalable and maintainable solutions that align with both business goals and technical requirements. You will select and evaluate appropriate technologies and frameworks to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability across our product portfolio, drawing on your systems-engineering background that integrates mechanical, electrical, and software domains. You will ensure security compliance by embedding company security standards into architectural decisions and keeping them up to date with evolving threats and best practices. You will mentor and guide the software development team and fellow architects in architectural principles, clean code, and best practices through design reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cross-team collaboration. You will manage stakeholder communication effectively, supporting clear negotiation and presentation to align project goals with the technical vision.
