Assistant physician in pediatrics
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.
The Pediatrics Department of CHUV is offering assistant physician positions as part of pediatric training. We offer the opportunity to work in both university and non-university settings, within a network of pediatric units that provide numerous opportunities for professional development.
The Pediatrics Department is a member of Res-For-Ped, a network of pediatric units described in the document "Presentation of Res-For-Ped" in the appendix.
If you are still a student or recently graduated, with little clinical experience, your training place is within the Network for the training of pediatric assistants.
If you already have extensive clinical experience in pediatrics (more than 2 to 3 years) or have solid research experience (MD-PhD or other researcher program) and are aiming for an academic career, your training place is within the Women-Mother-Child Department (document "Presentation of DFME" in the appendix) of CHUV, which includes pediatrics.
Mission
- You provide quality care centered on the child and their family
- You actively participate in the pre- and postgraduate training of the department and in research activities
- You collaborate with specialists, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Swiss federal medical diploma or a title recognized by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO)
- You are motivated and wish to become a pediatrician
- You master French or have the ability to acquire it quickly (level B2)
