Fire Safety Officer (m/f/d)
To strengthen our team in the Occupational and Plant Safety department, we are looking for a qualified and committed fire safety specialist to start immediately or by arrangement:
Your area of responsibility includes:
- Ensuring and complying with all legal, cantonal, and internal regulations in the field of fire protection
- Responsibility for organizational and preventive fire protection
- Organization and coordination of maintenance in cooperation with external companies
- Planning and updating fire protection concepts, escape and rescue plans, as well as evacuation guidelines
- Conducting evacuation drills, training, and raising employee awareness as well as integral tests (IGT)
- Collaboration with authorities, fire brigade, police, and external safety and fire protection agencies
- Participation in risk assessments, safety inspections, evaluation of technical and structural measures
- Documentation and maintenance of safety-relevant documents
- Administrative support in the areas of occupational safety, health protection & security
You bring with you:
- Commercial training, complemented by technical understanding
- Additional qualification in fire protection (e.g., SIBE or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in fire protection, ideally in industry
- Knowledge of EKAS guidelines, VKF regulations, labor law
- Independent working style, high sense of responsibility, and assertiveness
- Strong communication skills, confident appearance internally and externally
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills and other languages are an advantage
- Solid MS Office program knowledge and possibly safety software
