The BUZ, based in Leibstadt, offers services in the areas of industrial prefabrication, high tech, processing and cutting.

With many years of experience and solid expertise, we support the manufacturing industry and crafts in all matters of individual and customised mechanical processing of wood-based materials and related products.

At the customer's request, we complement the service with consulting, development, planning and delivery.

Your future task

You lead the Fermacell and Antalis teams and continuously develop their processes, technologies and working methods. Together with your employees, you actively shape the future of BUZ and drive topics such as digitalisation, automation, robotics and data-based production control forward.

You identify improvement potentials, successfully implement projects and ensure that new technologies create sustainable added value for employees, customers and the company.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person with a strong desire to shape, high initiative and enthusiasm for technological advancement. You question existing processes, develop new solutions and motivate others to actively support change.

Your main tasks

• Leadership and further development of the Fermacell and Antalis teams.

• Ensuring an efficient, safe and high-quality production operation
• Management and implementation of projects in the areas of digitalisation, automation and robotics.
• Identification, evaluation and realisation of optimisation potentials regarding productivity, quality, costs and throughput times.
• Promotion of a culture of continuous improvement (CIP) and lean management.
• Active participation in the strategic further development of BUZ.
• Establishment and further development of digital processes and data structures for future production planning and control.
• Introduction and use of modern technologies, automation solutions and AI-supported applications in the production environment.
• Use of SAP, key figures and digital tools for data-based decision-making.
• Close cooperation with AVOR, sales, logistics, ICT and production.
• Support in developing a future-oriented and digitally networked production.

Your profile

• Technical basic training with further education at HF/FH level or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading employees and teams.
• Experience in managing and implementing projects.
• High affinity for digitalisation, automation, robotics and new technologies.
• Knowledge of lean management, CIP and process optimisation is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems and digital tools.
• Interest in AI applications and their use in an industrial environment.
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style.
• High self-motivation, strong willingness to learn and implementation strength.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in actively driving change.
