About the job
Your Tasks
• Family-centred counselling of pregnant women and mothers on the topic of breastfeeding and nutrition of the newborn in the women’s clinic and the children’s hospital
• Independent and structured daily organisation both in the outpatient clinic and in the inpatient setting including patient documentation and managing the care process
• Providing internal further and continuing education and conducting case discussions on breastfeeding, lactation, infant nutrition and aids
• Coaching of staff on the wards
• Close collaboration and regular, structured exchange with the specialists of the women’s clinic and the children’s hospital as well as with the breastfeeding working group
• Co-creating guidelines on breastfeeding, lactation, infant nutrition and breastfeeding aids
Your Profile
• Training as a midwife or nursing specialist FH / HF with the certificate Breastfeeding and Lactation Consultant IBCLC or BSS
• Professional experience in an acute hospital in the postnatal ward
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Enjoyment, commitment and participation in multiprofessional collaboration
