What you will do
As part of our Finance function, you will be the go-to expert for Swiss statutory and management reporting, playing a central role in month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, budgeting and forecasting, and ongoing compliance with Swiss regulatory requirements. You will work closely with HR, Tax, Treasury, and our Shared Service Center, and act as the primary contact for external auditors, fiduciaries, and Swiss authorities.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and US GAAP
- Driving month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities for all Swiss entities
- Performing variance analysis and translating financial data into actionable management insights
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Overseeing the accounting implications of Swiss payroll (AHV/ALV/IV, BVG, KTG, UVG/UVGZ) in collaboration with HR and payroll
- Ensuring compliance with Swiss legal and regulatory requirements, including VAT and withholding tax
- Maintaining and improving ERP-based reporting processes (SAP S/4HANA), including automation and dashboard development
- Designing and strengthening internal controls and ensuring ongoing audit readiness (SOX)
- Acting as a business partner to functional leads and overseeing Shared Service Center activities for Swiss domicile companies
What you bring
- A Swiss professional qualification — Swiss CPA, Swiss Fiduciary, or equivalent; audit or advisory background with relevant industry experience is highly valued
- At least 5 years of experience in controlling, financial reporting, or accounting, ideally within an international environment
- Solid command of Swiss accounting standards and the Swiss Code of Obligations
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of the Swiss social security system and financial regulations
- SOX knowledge and experience with internal control frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools is a plus
- A structured, process-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across cultures and time zones
- Fluency in both German (mother tongue) and English is required
