Senior Controller (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 135,000Role:
An internationally active Swiss technology company specialising in the development of state-of-the-art drive and energy solutions for the maritime industry.
Research and development, digitalisation, automation, energy efficiency and alternative drive concepts play a central role. Employees work in a technically demanding, internationally influenced environment and can contribute to solutions that have a direct impact on the future development of global shipping.
Responsibilities:
You act as an important interface for finance governance and support the departments in implementing defined guidelines, processes and control standards.
You monitor essential financial controls, conduct control tests and ensure compliance with competence and approval matrices as well as internal requirements.
When risks and deviations are identified, you analyse the causes, derive optimisation potentials and coordinate the implementation of sustainable corrective measures.
You accompany audit processes, prepare documents and enquiries, and ensure the follow-up of agreed measures; additionally, you coordinate governance topics related to financial statements.
You further develop reporting tools such as risk overviews, KPI reports and dashboards and support the standardisation and digitalisation of finance processes.
Qualifications:
An academic education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field forms your professional foundation.
You bring practical experience in internal controls, finance compliance, controlling or financial governance and understand the interrelations of modern financial processes.
Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and experience with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable ERP environment are important for this role.
You work analytically, solution-oriented and independently and can communicate complex matters appropriately to the target audience.
Very good English skills are mandatory alongside good German skills.
