Transport Dispatcher / Driver (m/f) 80 - 100%

In this role, you plan and coordinate our daily transports and regularly undertake transport tours yourself. Thanks to your experience as a transport dispatcher and driver, you know the demands of everyday transport first-hand and ensure that our customers are served reliably and on time.

What to expect

• Planning and coordination of daily transport orders
• Deployment planning of drivers and vehicles
• Ensuring economical and timely transport handling
• Continuous monitoring of transports and quick response to short-term changes
• Regular execution of transport tours in national piece goods traffic
• Safe and economical driving of articulated lorries
• Contact person for customers, drivers, and partner companies
• Recording and management of transport orders in the dispatch system
• Close cooperation with warehouse, administration, and management
• Participation in the optimisation of workflows and processes
• Support with administrative tasks in daily business

What you bring

• Completed training in transport, logistics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a transport dispatcher and driver category C/E
• Driving licence category C/E mandatory – including experience with articulated lorries
• Good geographical knowledge of Switzerland
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications
• High service orientation and strong communication skills
• Organisational talent and the ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and solution-oriented thinking
• Team spirit and enjoyment in working with customers, drivers, and colleagues
• High IT affinity and enthusiasm for digital processes and modern software solutions
