Pilatus Flachdach AG is an established, market-leading flat roof plumbing company with nearly 90 employees. The company is based in Samstagern. To strengthen the organisation, we are looking for a Workshop Manager.

Your Future Role and Responsibilities

As Workshop Manager, you are the central contact point for the organisation and smooth operation of the workshop. Your job is a mix of office work (60%) and production (40%).

• You organise and supervise the daily work in the workshop and lead 1-2 employees
• You coordinate production in the plumbing area (cutting sheet metal, bending, welding, etc.)
• You can operate and programme modern CNC machines (press brake, swivel bending and punching machines, as well as a modern welding robot) and calculate sheet metal developments
• You are responsible for goods receipt, incoming inspection and goods issue
• You take care of the issue/return of consumables, tools and machines
• You organise maintenance and repairs of tools and machines
• You have experience with CNS and aluminium welding (shielding gas)

Our Expectations

• You work independently, are conscientious and enjoy technology and machines
• You have training and experience as a plant/apparatus builder, plumber or similar
• You have experience and enjoyment in programming (CNC) machines (e.g. welding robot)
• You are a robust, down-to-earth personality
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
• It is advantageous if you have already worked in a workshop/plumbing and are familiar with inventory management
• Ideally, you live in the Samstagern region (+/- 30 minutes by car)
